Growth Marketer
We're hiring our first Growth Marketer to build a steady flow of inbound leads from digital channels. You'll run campaigns across paid, web, email and search, build the processes and automations behind them from scratch, and own the data that shows what's working.
Who is Adfin?
We were founded in April 2024 by an A-class team that has already built multi-billion businesses in banking and payments, and are backed by the best tech investors in Europe (Index Ventures, Visionaries Club, and some very successful fintech CEOs and founders). Our early performance has been strong and so the team is starting to expand.
What’s the problem we are solving?
Most businesses, regardless of size or sector, struggle to get paid on time. Chasing late invoices is time-consuming, managing the process is expensive, and the tools available today make it much harder than it needs to be.
Where are we heading?
It’s not just getting paid that’s hard. Making payments, managing cashflow, and keeping on top of bank accounts, accounting, and reporting are all time-consuming and expensive. We will harness the huge opportunity AI offers to streamline all financial operations for businesses.
What are we looking for?
Adfin automates how businesses pay, get paid and manage their money. We're around 50 people in London, backed by Index Ventures at Series A, and we're now building marketing into a core growth engine.
As our first Growth Marketer, you'll turn positioning into campaigns across paid, web, email and search, build the processes and automations behind them from scratch, and own the data that shows what's working. You'll report to the Head of Marketing and work with every team, including the founders.
You'll:
- Run paid campaigns across LinkedIn, Meta and Google, from first touch to retargeting.
- Turn campaign ideas into growth campaigns with a clear audience, message, offer and success measure, and plan distribution across channels.
- Own conversion tracking, attribution and weekly reporting on leads and pipeline.
- Own HubSpot for marketing: lifecycle stages, lead scoring and routing, forms and workflows.
- Build automations and AI tools that help the team move faster, from lead enrichment to reporting.
- Optimise the website across both routes in: free sign-up and demo booking.
- Build onboarding email journeys that turn sign-ups into active users.
- Find and reach new verticals online, from sizing search demand to testing messages.
- Run experiments on ads, landing pages and emails, and agree with Sales what counts as a good lead.
Who are we looking for?
You don't need to have done it all before. We want someone curious, practical and good with numbers, and we'll help you learn the rest. You're likely to have:
- 2-4 years in B2B marketing, measured on leads, sign-ups or pipeline.
- Hands-on experience with paid (LinkedIn, Meta or Google) and HubSpot or a similar CRM.
- Strong AI and no-code skills, with examples built in Claude, ChatGPT, Zapier, Make or Clay.
- Built processes or systems from scratch and seen them through.
- Ownership of the numbers: you set up tracking, report results and work out why things did or didn't work.
- Clear writing that turns a story into an ad or landing page that converts.
It's a bonus if you have:
- Experience of both free sign-up and sales-led routes.
- Set up conversion tracking (GA4, UTMs, Google Tag Manager, ad pixels).
- Managed a paid budget and reported on its return.
- Worked with Sales on lead quality and follow-up.
- Done SEO, or got content cited by AI search tools.
- Marketed to accountants, finance teams or small businesses.
You'll need the right to work in the UK. We can't offer visa sponsorship for this role.
What is the hiring process?
We move fast while giving you and us the chance to make a proper assessment:
- Introductory call
- Screening call with the Head of Marketing (20-30 mins)
- In-office interview with the CEO and Head of Marketing (45 mins, including a short task with no prep needed)
- Panel call (30 mins)
What will an offer look like?
- Competitive salary
- Share options: everyone at Adfin owns part of the company.
- Office: five days a week in our office in Victoria, London.
- Private medical insurance
- 28 days' holiday
- Gender-neutral parental leave
- MacBook and any tools you need
- Company retreats at least twice a year
- Cycle to work scheme
