The problem

And yet the business payments market is huge, and it's a global problem.

Until recently, the problem was simply unsolvable.
Software simply couldn't handle the complexity of the business payment process.

Handoffs create friction. The more you can do yourself, the more effectively you can execute. For that reason, we have a very flat structure and trust everyone with lots of information.

But we like to think our benefits are pretty good too.
Everyone owns a share of the company. No exceptions.
12 weeks' leave at 90% salary for the primary care-giver, and 4 weeks' leave at 80% salary for the secondary care-giver when you become a parent (or greater, if supported by local law). While this is good for a startup, we want to do much more and will be improving this policy as we grow.
Regular whole-company get-togethers in fun places: at least every quarter.
We'll support you with training and development related to your role, or your next role. This could be funding a course, or giving you time to work on a new skill. We'll do our best to make it happen.
We're a dispersed team but recognise the power of face-to-face interaction. Our HQ is in London (next to Buckingham Palace, sadly not inside) and we have an engineering centre in Iasi, Romania.
Fundamentally, we trust each other to know when and where to work to get the job done.
For Engineering roles, many of our team work remotely but we do ask that everyone comes to the office on the same day at least 1 day a week. That said, some of our engineers do work full time from the office and we do prefer that.
For other roles, we work in the office together 5 days a week. It's just more efficient (and much more fun than being sat at home)! We have a great sandwich shop and pub next door and the office is a pretty nice place to be too. As a result, we do currently need our UK hires to be based in London. We recognise this isn't for everyone, but it's the choice we've made on how we best operate.
It is important to have the best tools for the job, so we will provide you with a high end Macbook and any other equipment necessary for your role. We use the most modern software stack we can: if you find an even more efficient way of doing something, we'll adopt it.
