How it works

Every way to pay.

From freelancers to enterprises, let customers pay the way that suits them.

Direct debits

Automate the whole direct debit process.
If a payment fails, we retry for free and can fall back to card. Switch from your existing provider without your clients lifting a finger.

Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay

Take payments by card, Apple Pay and Google Pay, including over the phone. Pass card fees onto your customer instead of absorbing them.

Bank payments

Let customers pay straight from their bank, no card or password needed. Bank transfers are reconciled automatically, so chasing stops the second the client pays.

Automatic reconciliation

Every payment is reconciled in Xero or QuickBooks automatically. You're paid daily, always the full invoice amount, because we bill our fee separately. So what lands in your bank matches your invoice exactly.
Customise

A payment experience your customers will love

Our payment pages are clean, super fast, and keep your brand front and centre. To accept payments online in this age, you shouldn't accept anything less.
Unique to Adfin

The tools you need
to get every invoice paid

Your payment process should be in lockstep with your credit control process. Adfin has gone farther than anyone else in integrating smart tools that make a real difference to getting paid.

Instalment plans, set up in seconds

Split an invoice across any number of payments, at any frequency - and edit the amount of each payment if you need to. Fewer excuses, more payments!

Pass card fees back to your business customers

When a business or international customer pays by card, Adfin can add the processing fee to their total and collect it directly so it's free for you to accept. Turn it on for one customer, or all of them.

Let customers pay in parts

Set a minimum and let customers chip away at larger invoices. They'll keep getting reminders until the balance is clear, so nothing gets forgotten.

No more matching payments by hand

With Adfin bank transfers, we see every payment as it lands and allocate it to the right invoice automatically. Underpayments, overpayments, missing references: all handled in the background.

Get started in minutes

Adfin has no minumum or monthly fees: we only get paid if you get paid.

FAQ

Payments questions

How do I know Adfin is safe?

Adfin’s platform has been built from scratch using the latest technology to be as safe and secure as possible. For more information, see adfin.com/security.

Who is responsible for providing me with payment services?

Adfin enables you to distribute and manage requests for payment to your customers. Payment services are provided directly to you by one of our FCA-regulated payments partners and their name may appear on your customers' bank statements if you do not take our Adfin Custom product (to put your name on the bank statement). Our partners are currently Adyen N.V.; Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd; Tink Financial Services Ltd.

If you or any of your customers have any questions about the payment services, please reach out to us directly.

Your fees are very competitive. Will they ever increase?

We've built our payment infrastructure from scratch in the AI era, which is why our platform is so secure, reliable and cost competitive. Not all of our payment-related costs are within our control as they are set by the underlying payment scheme: for example, the majority of card fees go to the issuing bank in the form of interchange. However, unless these underlying costs change we can see no reason why Adfin would increase fees, and we are in fact working to see where we can lower them. Our Transparency Manifesto at adfin.com/pricing provides more detail on how we believe Adfin is different when it comes to pricing.

How can I trust that you won’t get sold to someone who increases fees?

We are building a new type of payments company here at Adfin: one where transparency and trust are central. And our highly experienced team is deeply committed to building an independent company which remains in our control. Therefore, while we can make no promises, our intentions are certainly to remain independent, and even if we didn’t, we would ensure any buyer shares our core values.
