We’re hiring a Marketing Executive to help us scale demand generation, with a strong focus on content. You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing, receiving clear briefs, priorities, and structured feedback while gaining hands-on experience across B2B content, brand building, and demand generation. This role is ideal for someone early in their marketing career who wants to build strong creative and marketing skills while seeing their work make a real impact at a fast-growing startup.
Who is Adfin?
We were founded in April 2024 by an A-class team that has already built multi-billion businesses in banking and payments, and are backed by the best tech investors in Europe (Index Ventures, Visionaries Club, and some very successful fintech CEOs and founders). Our early performance has been strong and so the team is starting to expand.
What’s the problem we are solving?
Getting paid is time consuming and expensive for both businesses and payers.
Businesses deal with late and unpaid invoices, as payers have no incentives to pay quickly. Chasing late payments and failed direct debits is expensive, while any sort of adjustments, like payment plans, late fees, discounts, require significant manual effort for the business.
At the same time, businesses are paying Ecommerce card prices for low risk payments, while struggling to get adoption on lower cost payment methods. And any attempt to reduce cost of getting paid involves configuring and managing multiple vendors and overly-complicated, often impossible reconciliation processes.
Where are we heading?
It’s not just getting paid that’s hard. Making payments, managing cashflow, and keeping on top of bank accounts, accounting, and reporting are all time-consuming and expensive. We will harness the generational shift in capability AI offers to streamline all financial operations for businesses.
What are we looking for?
We're looking for someone to:
- Produce and manage content across multiple channels and formats — from social posts and video content to webinars and thought leadership
- Bring customer stories to life by supporting interviews, drafting case studies, and repurposing them across channels
- Create design assets for social and sales enablement
- Help manage the company website and marketing assets
- Support event planning, promotion, and execution — including exhibitions, lunch events, the annual Adfin tea party and other creative events
- Contribute to broader marketing initiatives — from paid and postal campaigns to partner co-marketing and beyond
Who are we looking for?
You'll have 1–2 years' experience in marketing, content, editorial, PR, or communications (internships and graduate roles count), strong writing skills, and a genuine interest in content and social media — you notice what works and why.
You're organised, reliable, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks and picking up new tools. Experience in B2B, fintech, or startup environments is a bonus, as are examples of work you've created, whether professional, personal, or at university.
Beyond the basics, the people who thrive here tend to share a few things in common: they're extroverted and good with people; they have sharp intuition and move fast, producing high-quality work, and course-correct quickly when needed. They're very ambitious — whether they want a direct upwards route or otherwise. Most importantly, they're in it for the long haul, with real aspirations to grow into a senior role and make a lasting impact.
What is the hiring process?
We try and move fast with hiring whilst giving you and us the chance to make a proper assessment:
- Initial screening interview to ensure this is right on both sides (30 mins)
- Light task-based interview (45 mins)
- Final board interview (30 mins)

- Competitive salary: we pay what it takes to get the best people, but of course at first you can probably earn more in a corporate (but you’ll learn 5% as much and have 1% as much fun!).

- Office: we value face-to-face collaboration. We are flexible but if not travelling, work full time in the office near Buckingham Palace (with an exceptional sandwich shop and pub just round the corner and yes - our very own ping pong table).
