Spotlight of the Week – Meet Georgii Perepecho, Software Engineer at Adfin

At Adfin, we love putting the spotlight on the amazing people behind our product. This week, we’re excited to introduce Georgii Perepecho, one of our talented Software Engineers!

Why did you decide to join Adfin?

"I decided to join Adfin because I wanted to be part of a small, motivated team where I could have a direct impact on users. The opportunity to build something new and exciting, while collaborating closely with passionate teammates, really appealed to me. I love working in an environment where innovation and ownership are encouraged, and Adfin felt like the perfect place for that."

What’s the most interesting or challenging project you’ve worked on so far?

"The most interesting project I’ve worked on so far was the Revolut People platform—a product designed to manage everything related to people operations, from HR and performance to recruitment. It was a challenging but rewarding experience, as we had to deeply understand user pain points and come up with innovative solutions to streamline complex workflows. Finding the right balance between flexibility and structure was a key challenge, and it was exciting to develop solutions that truly made a difference for users."

When you’re not coding, what do you enjoy doing in your free time?

"When I’m not coding, I love going on hikes—almost every weekend, I head out to nature to explore new trails. I also enjoy traveling by car, visiting National Parks in the UK (the Lake District is my favorite) and discovering charming little villages. Being outdoors helps me recharge and clear my mind. At home, I like working on DIY projects, finding creative ways to build or fix things. And occasionally, I unwind with some PlayStation games."

What’s your favorite book, movie, or TV show?

"My favorite book series are The Witcher by Andrzej Sapkowski. As for movies, The Lord of the Rings is my all-time favorite."
