When we first founded Adfin, we quickly realised that accountants and small businesses were in payment tool hell. A typical accounting firm was using GoCardless for direct debit, Worldpay or Stripe for cards, Crezco for open banking, and still manually tracking bank transfers. We knew there was a better way - so we set out to build a single platform that could do it all.

What Adfin brought together first

Direct debit

The bread and butter of recurring client payments - reliable, flexible and a smooth client experience (we wrote a lot more on why we think it’s so great here). We built our direct debit offering with easy mandate setup and tracking, configurable retries (with no charges for failures) and smart fallbacks.

Many businesses were already using a direct debit provider, but were frustrated with the lack of flexibility or poor support. So we built mandate migration, enabling businesses to transfer to Adfin without clients needing to sign new mandates - so no interruptions to client collections, and no paperwork.

Cards (including Apple Pay & Google Pay)

Great for one-off and urgent payments, like yearly self-assessment clients. With support for Apple Pay and Google Pay, your clients can pay you from their mobiles in a matter of seconds - so now there’s no excuse!

Pay by bank

Account to account payments without the pain of manual data entry - clients pick their bank and pay directly from their banking app.

Instalment plans

Spread a client’s payments over time without additional admin.

We’ve built instalment plans with fully configurable frequencies and amounts, the option to collect On Demand or with Auto Collect, and automatic updates against the planned invoice (no need to manually allocate payments). Read more about how our instalment plans work here.

Bank transfers (with automated reconciliation)

At last! Now you can accept bank transfers directly from the Adfin payment page.

We’ll show your client intermediary bank details - then when a client makes a payment, we automatically detect and update it. No checking or chasing needed after the money lands, and no more need for you to manually ‘mark as paid’ in your accounting software.

A single source of truth for outstanding payments and invoices, which your clients can pay in a single payment link.
